Fitspire, a family health nutrition and protein supplements brand, has secured $1 million in a bridge round for Series A preparation led by McDonald's India (North and East). Promoter Anan Agarwal, MM Agrawal Group (MMG), along with angel investors from AKG financials at a valuation of Rs 100 crore (around $12 million) participated in the round. Earlier this year, Fitspire, owned by Starcap Wellness Pvt Ltd, raised funds from investors like Jaipuria family office Ruchirans- Anuraag, Sohil-Ashish Chand - LC Nueva Capital among others. The Delhi-based startup will use the fresh funds to strengthen its ecosystem, accelerate market expansion, build the brand, and create new revenue streams. Founded in 2020 by Vipen Jain, Nidhi Jain, and Hinah Sawhney, Fitspire aims to capture 2% of the total nutrition market in India, currently valued at approximately $11.85 billion and projected to grow to $28.70 billion by 2032. As part of its expansion plans, Fitspire is launching a new range of innovative products, including protein shakes, protein cookies, protein chips, protein spreads, and protein-enriched bakery products.

The Delhi-based brand offers an extensive menu of over 70 specialty coffee brews, complemented by a curated dining menu that includes burgers, artisanal sandwiches, and pasta—all produced through in-house facilities. The company’s proprietary supply chain system, supported by centralized dispatch units and base kitchens, enables it to deliver a refined experience efficiently and at scale. According to market research, India's cafe industry is projected to grow at a CAGR of 15-20%, reaching $2.6-3.2 billion by 2028. Chelvies claims it has achieved a monthly run rate of INR 1.30 crore, with demonstrated profitability at each store level. The company aims to transform India’s coffee culture with a European-inspired concept that blends premium specialty coffee with an elevated dining experience.

Fraganote raises $1 Mn in pre-Series A round led by Rukam Capital Perfumery brand Fraganote has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Rukam Capital. The fresh funds will be deployed towards expanding its fragrance portfolio, introducing new scent-forward formats, and launching offline retail pilots and immersive brand experiences, Fraganote said in a press release. Co-founded in 2022 by Arjun Anand and Garima Kakkar, Fraganote is an Indian luxury perfume brand focused on artisanal fragrances. The company manufactures its products in small batches with a high concentration of perfume oil, aiming for longer-lasting scents. It also specializes in narrative-led, culturally attuned perfumes. The Delhi-based startup aspires to redefine how India discovers, experiences, and relates to fragrance. It strives to create story-rich perfumes that reflect the moods, aspirations, and evolving lifestyle of a new India. All concepts are developed in-house by a team of aficionados to create scents like Baked Vanilla, Drunken Cake, and Beach Holiday. According to market research, India’s perfume market is on a strong growth trajectory. Valued at $281 million in FY2024, it is projected to reach $873.3 million by FY2032, growing at a CAGR of 15.23% between FY2025 and FY2032. Garima Kakkar, Co-Founder of Fraganote, said, "At Fraganote, we are building a luxury fragrance brand that is born in India but belongs everywhere.
