Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has launched a non-dilutive, grant-based fund for entrepreneurs aged 25 and under. The fund will support young entrepreneurs and offer a comprehensive package including a non-dilutive grant of Rs 20 Lakh, which will enable founders to retain full equity in their ventures. WTFund willl also provide access to operator-first mentorship pods, a vibrant community through the WTF ecosystem, and feedback opportunities, among other benefits. The fund will select 40 entrepreneurs aged 25 or below for funding and mentorship over one year. The founders who get selected will receive support until they secure their first institutional funding, according to the statement. The WTFund will begin accepting applications from April 15 through its website and the selected candidates will undergo a screening process and receive support until they secure their first institutional funding. Kamath introduced the fund during a podcast in October last year. Under this initiative, the entrepreneurs will receive mentorship from Ananth Narayanan (founder of Mensa Brands), Raj Shamani (content creator), Kamath, and Kishore Biyani (Future Group founder).

The applications also reflected a strong mobile-first mindset across all tiers. Tier 1 startups are pioneering AI/ML-driven B2B solutions, while Tier 2 and 3 founders are building vernacular-first B2C innovations tailored for India's diverse markets. These entrepreneurs are addressing local challenges while creating globally scalable solutions. The second cohort highlights nine startups, each bringing innovative solutions with the potential for significant impact. These include Nasadya, InnerGize, Armatrix, Drnk, Neoperk, ReferRush, Modus AI, Bytes, and Ai.gnosis. WTFund is designed to empower young entrepreneurs under 25 by providing early-stage grants, mentorship, and resources. Led by Nikhil Kamath, it backs founders solving critical real-world problems across sectors like healthtech, energy transition, AI, and space tech, enabling them to scale without immediate dilution pressures. The fund aspires to democratize access to capital and nurture a new generation of bold, risk-taking entrepreneurs shaping India’s future.
