Butterfly Learnings, a platform in paediatric behavioural and developmental health, has raised Rs 32 crore in its Series A round ed by Insitor Impact Asia Fund II and Enzia Ventures, with participation from CIIE (IIMA Ventures), Foundation Botnar, 9 Unicorns, and Venture Catalysts. Earlier in 2022, the Mumbai-based startup had raised $2 million in its seed funding round from Insitor Partners, 9 Unicorns, Venture Catalysts, and others. The fresh proceeds will be used to fuel Butterfly Learnings’ expansion efforts as it plans to scale its tech enabled therapy programs. Founded by Sonam Kothari, Butterfly Learnings operate as a phygital platform that offers tailored support for children and families facing challenges related to neurodiversity. It employs over 250 in-house trained therapists, with operations extending to urban areas such as Pune, Nagpur, and Nasik. The platform’s core offerings include individualized therapy regimens based on applied behavior analysis (ABA), consultations with skilled pediatric neurologists or developmental pediatricians, and additional therapies such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, oral placement therapy, and sensory integration. Currently serving approximately 2,000 families across 30 centers in Maharashtra, the firm plans to extend its reach across multiple states and cities in India through a 200-center network.

Healthcare platform HexaHealth is set to raise Rs 37 crore (approximately $4.3 million) in its ongoing Series A round led by Orios Venture Partners with the participation of Enzia Ventures and existing investors including 3one4 Capital, Chiratae Ventures, and Omidyar Network. The board at HexaHealth passed a special resolution to issue 49,941 Series A3 compulsory convertible preference shares at an issue price of Rs 6,848 to raise the aforementioned sum, as per its regulatory filing. Orios Venture Partners will lead the round with an investment of Rs 12 crore, followed by Enzia Ventures contributing Rs 6 crore. Other investors, including 3one4 Capital, Chiratae Ventures, ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, and Omidyar Network, will each invest Rs 4 crore. The proceeds will be used for working capital, marketing, and general corporate purposes. Post-allotment, the company's estimated valuation is Rs 314 crore (approximately $37 million). Founded in 2021 by Vikas Chauhan, Ankur Girgas, and Aman Khanna, HexaHealth offers a full-stack solution for patients requiring surgery by partnering with leading hospitals. HexaHealth has raised $11.5 million to date, including a $4.5 million seed round in September 2021.

Founded in June 2022 by Dr. Sumitra Meena and Ashish Meena, Babynama offers access to expert pediatricians through a chat-first platform. With over 1.5 million queries resolved and an average response time of under two minutes, Babynama claims to ensure parents receive timely, reliable, and personalized care. The platform’s key focus areas include 24/7 pediatric support, dedicated doctors team, parent education, community engagement, technology-driven care. Since its inception, Babynama claims to have achieved milestones, including assisting nearly 2 lakh parents in accessing timely care and identifying early signs of critical conditions such as respiratory distress, epilepsy, autism, and ADHD in children. The platform has also surpassed 10,000 paying customers, offering a wide array of services to support mothers and newborns. Looking ahead, Babynama plans to launch third-trimester care programs, developmental initiatives targeting key aspects of child growth, and interactive workshops to empower parents.

With this acquisition, LISSUN gains full ownership of Being’s technology and team, combining therapist-led expertise with AI-powered hyper-personalized care capable of decoding over 40 emotional and behavioural conditions, including autism, ADHD, speech delays, and learning challenges. Being’s founders, Varun Gandhi (CEO) and Abhishek Sharma (CTO), have joined LISSUN as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively. Being Cares Inc is a US-based mental health startup that provides AI-powered tools to map and address over 40 emotional and behavioral conditions. The platform uses data on real-world causes and effects to give personalized mental health guidance and has served nearly one million users globally. The integration aims to merge LISSUN’s clinical interventions with Being’s intelligent mental health mapping, which processes over 2,500 causes and real-world effects to deliver highly tailored guidance for parents and children. With Sunshine by LISSUN centres already addressing child development needs, this move positions LISSUN as a full-spectrum care provider, offering both digital guidance and in-person therapy through its growing phygital network. LISSUN plans to scale its Sunshine centres from 20 to over 200 in the next 2–4 years while expanding AI-led support via its virtual assistant, Ray, to millions of parents on platforms like WhatsApp. By combining real-time developmental insights, personalized therapy activities, and milestone tracking, the platform aims to deliver end-to-end mental health solutions across home, school, and clinical settings.
