Akasa Air CEO, Vinay Dube, believes that the aviation market is big enough for the company to succeed and does not dwell on competition. The airline is focused on service excellence, cost leadership, and expanding its network and international presence. Akasa Air has placed an order for 226 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and plans to add over 200 aircraft to its fleet in the next eight years. The company currently operates 24 Boeing 737 MAX planes and offers a range of ancillary services. Dube also mentioned that the company has paused new pilot hiring but will resume at a later point.
