Hyperscalers host EkStep digital public goods, build AI bot

Global hyperscalers AWS and Google Cloud are collaborating with Bengaluru-based non-profit EkStep Foundation to host its digital public goods (DPGs) on their Cloud platforms. AWS already hosts other projects such as Co-WIN and DigiLocker. DPGs are open-source software and content collections that can be used for building digital public infrastructure. The partnership aims to provide ready building blocks for countries to deliver services to their citizens. Google Cloud is also working on DPGs, starting with Sunbird RC and a virtual assistant. The collaboration will support the development of AI-based smart assistants for specific use cases.
