Go Digit General Insurance’s revenue from operations (net premium) decreased 8% to Rs 1,824 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 1,982 crore in Q4 FY24. However, its gross premium stood at Rs 2,660 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. The Bengaluru-based company also demonstrated strong financial standing during the previous fiscal year ending March 2024, marking a 37.4% year-on-year growth to Rs 7,096 crore (net premium) with its profits ballooning over 5X to Rs 182 crore during the last fiscal year Besides the operational income, Go Digit also made Rs 253 crore from its investments, tallying its overall revenue q Rs 2,077 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2,692 crore in Q4 FY24. For the general insurance firm, the claims paid were naturally the largest cost center forming 64.48% of the overall expenditure. Akin to its scale, this cost decreased by 10% to Rs 1,285 crore in Q1FY25. The firm’s spending on commission, employee benefits, business development, sales promotion, and other overheads took its overall expense to Rs 1,993 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2,198 crore in Q4 FY25. Despite a slight decrease in scale, Go Digit managed to control its costs by 9.3% QoQ, leading to a significant profit increase. Their profits rose by 90.6%, to Rs 101 crore in Q1FY25 from Rs 53 crore in Q4FY24. Sequentially, the firm posted 5X growth in profits during FY24. Go Digit General Insurance’s IPO was valued at Rs 2,616 crore, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 1,250 crore and the remainder offered for sale. The company debuted on the stock exchange on May 23 this year with a share price of Rs 286, marking a 5.1% gain compared to their price band of Rs 258-272 per share. GoDgit’s share price is currently trading at Rs 349.5 (as of 12.13 PM), According to Entrackr’s estimates, its total market capitalization stood at Rs 32,077 crore or $3.86 billion.

Fintech firm Infibeam Avenues on Friday released its financial results for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q1 FY25). The company witnessed a 3.6% increase in gross revenue whereas its profit spiked 43% growth during the quarter ending June 2025. Infibeam Avenues’s gross revenue grew to Rs 753 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 727 crore in Q4 FY24, according to the company’s unaudited consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange. The payment business formed 93.6% of the total revenue which stood at Rs 705 crore in Q1 FY25 while the income from providing customized e-commerce solutions brought Rs 39.3 crore to its coffers. Infibeam claims to have over 10 million merchants, with an average daily addition of more than 2,550 merchants in Q1 FY25. At the end, its other operating and financial income pushed Infibeam Avenues’ overall revenue to Rs 781 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 743 crore in Q4 FY24. On the cost front, the operating expenses (including payment processing cost) formed 90% of the overall expenditure. This cost remained flat at Rs 634 crore in Q1 FY25. The firm’s spending on employee benefits, legal, and other overheads took its overall cost up by 3.5% to Rs 703 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 679 crore in Q4 FY24. The increase in other income and consistent growth in scale helped Infibeam to register a 42.9% spike in its profits to Rs 70 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 49 crore in Q4 FY24. On a unit level, The Ahmedabad-based company spent Rs 0.93 to earn rupee in Q1 FY25. The company also acquired a majority stake (54%) in Rediff.com. The acquired company will become a subsidiary of Infibeam Avenue. “With this synergy, we are poised to unlock new dimensions of growth, redefining the essence of cloud and fintech engagement,” said Vishal Mehta, Chairman and MD of Infibeam Avenues. Infibeam Avenue is currently trading at Rs 32.42 (as of 03.00 PM) and its total market capitalization stood at Rs 9,019 crore or $1.1 billion.

Online beauty and fashion platform Nykaa has managed to improve its topline in the last quarter over Q4 FY24. Its revenue from operations grew 4.7% in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year whereas the firm’s profit spiked 51% during the same period. Nykaa’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 1,746 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 1,668 crore in Q4FY24, its unaudited consolidated financial statements sourced from National Stock Exchange show. The beauty segment comprised 91% of the total income while fashion accounted for 8.4% to the company’s coffers. At the same time, its gross merchandise value (GMV) stood at Rs 3,321 crore in Q1 FY25. In the last quarter, Nykaa processed 12.4 million orders in the beauty segment and 1.7 million from the fashion vertical. The average order value stood at Rs 1,924 for beauty and Rs 1,237 for fashion. For Nykaa, the cost of materials formed 57.2% of the overall expenditure which increased to Rs 990 crore in Q1 FY25. The firm’s spending on employee benefits, finance, marketing, technology, and other overheads pushed its total cost to Rs 1,731 crore in Q1 FY25. The marginal growth in its scale enabled Nykaa to book an over 50% jump in its profit to Rs 13.6 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 9 crore in Q4 FY24. Nykaa also increased its stake in its subsidiary Dot & Key to 90% with an additional consideration of Rs 265.3 crore. Importantly, the Falguni Nayar-led company also increased its stake in Earth Rhythm making it a subsidiary company with an undisclosed investment. The Mumbai-based company is currently trading at Rs 188 (as of Aug 13), with a total market capitalization of Rs 53,697 crore ($6.7 billion).

Honasa Consumer Limited, the parent firm of D2C brand MamaEarth, on Friday released its financial results for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q1 FY25). The company reported a 17.6% increase in revenue QoQ while its profit spiked 33.3% during the quarter ended June 2024. MamaEarth’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 554 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 471 crore in Q4 FY24, according to its unaudited consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange. The sale of personal and beauty care products was the sole source of revenue for Honasa Consumer. The firm also made Rs 19 crore from financial sources, tallying its overall income to Rs 573 crore in Q1 FY25. Notably, the firm posted Rs 1,920 crore of revenue, marking a 28.7% year-on-year growth during the fiscal year ending March 2024 with a net profit of Rs 147 crore. For the D2C brand, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 30% of the total expenditure which saw an 11.3% increase to Rs 157 crore in Q1 FY25. Its employee benefits, advertising, freight, legal, and other overheads took the overall cost to Rs 520 crore in Q1 FY25. At the end, profits of the Peak XV-backed firm grew 33.3% to Rs 40 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 30 crore in Q4 FY24. This is the highest profitable quarter for MamaEarth since its public debut. Importantly, the firm registered a massive 71% gross margin in the same period. Honasa Consumer was trading at Rs 473 (as of August 9) with a total market capitalization of Rs 15,336 crore (around $1.84 billion).

Yatra’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 235 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 110 crore in Q3 FY24, its consolidated unaudited financials sourced from National Stock Exchange (NSE) shows. The Gurugram-based firm managed to double its year-on-year revenue during the third quarter of FY25, compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal (Q3 FY24). Income from hotels and packages was the largest revenue source followed by air ticketing and other allied services. It also made Rs 6 crore from financial sources tallying the firm’s overall income to Rs 241 crore in Q3 FY25 from Rs 119.2 crore in Q3 FY24. For more context, Yatra has reported a revenue of Rs 572 crore with a positive bottom line of Rs 21.3 crore in the first nine months of the ongoing fiscal year (FY25). The travel aggregator firm spent 56% of the overall expenditure on service costs which stood at Rs 131 crore, followed by employee benefits which were recorded at Rs 39 crore. Its spending on marketing, legal, information technology, and other costs pushed its overall expense to Rs 231 crore in Q3 FY25. The twofold year-on-year scale helped Yatra to register a 10X surge in its profits, bringing it to Rs 10 crore in Q3 FY25 against Rs 1 crore in Q3 FY24. On a unit level, the firm spent Re 0.98 to earn a rupee in Q3 FY25. Yatra is currently trading at Rs 93.21 with a 0.52% increase in its share price. Its total market capitalization stood at Rs 1,462 crore.

Unicommerce, the e-commerce SaaS platform, has announced its results for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. The Gurugram-based company saw a 3% increase in revenue and 22% increase in profit in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year as compared to Q1 FY24. Unicommerce’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 27.4 crore in Q1 FY25, from Rs 26.5 crore in Q4 FY24, its audited financial statements sourced from National Stock Exchange (NSE) shows. For background, its operating revenue increased by 15% to Rs 103 crore in the last fiscal year (FY24) from Rs 90 crore in FY23. Unicommerce offers integrated e-commerce enablement SaaS solutions including inventory, return, and omnichannel management. Besides India, Unicommerce operates in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE & Saudi Arabia among others. Unicommerce spending on employee benefits, server hosting, finance, legal, and other overheads took the firm’s overall cost to Rs 24.2 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 23.9 crore in Q4 FY24. The modest increase in controlled expenditure helped Unicommerce to grow its profits by 22% to Rs 3.5 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2.87 crore in Q4 FY24. On a unit level, it spent Rs 0.88 to earn a rupee in Q1 FY25. The Gurugram-based firm had launched an IPO of Rs 276 crore, open to the public from August 2 to August 6, with a price band of Rs 102-108 per share. Unicommerce’s popularity was evident in its oversubscription rate, which soared over 168 times. The firm is currently trading at Rs 221.97 (as of the end of August 30) with a market capitalization of Rs 2,273 crore (approximately $274 million).
