About 80% of global capability centers (GCC) in India are focusing on digital capabilities like AI, data analytics, and cloud computing. This surpasses the emphasis on traditional tech capabilities like Application Development and Maintenance (ADM). ANSR's quarterly GCC report highlights generative AI, AI/ML, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and RPA as the top emerging skills in demand. India holds more than 50% of the global GCC market and is expected to host over 60 CIOs and SVP leaders by 2024. The GCC sector in India is predicted to employ over 4.5 million professionals by 2030 and is projected to be valued at $110 billion. Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi are major GCC hubs, with other cities also witnessing growth.
