Indian drone technology company Garuda Aerospace is expanding into the Sri Lankan market to target the agricultural sector, homeland security, and industrial applications. The move is part of the company's plan to expand into a minimum of 50 countries over the next few years. Garuda Aerospace, which has already partnered with Greek manufacturer Spirit Aeronautical Systems and French aerospace major Thales, has obtained approvals for drone manufacturing and pilot training in India. The company has a workforce of over 200 members and offers various drone services to clients including Tata, Godrej, and Flipkart.
