Climatetech startup BNZ Green secures $100K in pre-Seed round

Climate solutions startup BNZ Green has raised $100,000 in its pre-Seed round led by Climate Detox with participation from some angel investors. This seems to be the first funding for the Mumbai-based startup. The company plans to use the proceeds towards platform development and marketing initiatives, BNZ Green said in a press-release. Founded by Ashish Jain and Neha Jain in 2023, BNZ Green provides carbon footprint accounting tools for individuals and companies. The platform’s flagship product, BNZ X, is a blockchain-based carbon credit marketplace which aims to create impact on the carbon credit market. According to the Mumbai-based company, it seeks to enhance brand visibility and engage with the target audience and will deploy strategies that will include digital campaigns, strategic partnerships, and a multifaceted approach across online and offline channels. BNZ Green helps companies to take practical climate mitigation action through carbon credits. The other major players in this space are the Bengaluru-based Carbon Masters, Climes Inc, Solinas Integrity, IAP, et al.
