Bezos, Nvidia join OpenAI in funding humanoid robot startup, Bloomberg reports

According to Bloomberg News, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Nvidia, and other major tech companies are investing in Figure AI, a startup that creates human-like robots. The funding round is expected to raise about $675 million with a valuation of around $2 billion. Bezos' firm, Explore Investments LLC, committed $100 million, while Microsoft is investing $95 million. OpenAI, which initially considered acquiring Figure, is also investing $5 million. Other backers include Intel, LG Innotek, Samsung, and various venture capital firms. Figure AI develops humanoid robots capable of performing tasks in various environments.
