Bengaluru startup accepted me as intern because of my 10/10 GPA at IIT Madras: Perplexity AI CEO

Aravind Srinivas, CEO of Perplexity AI, shared that his 10 out of 10 GPA at IIT Madras helped him land an internship with a Bengaluru startup. During the internship, he studied artificial intelligence and became fascinated by the topic. Upon returning to IIT Madras, Srinivas took a machine learning class taught by Professor Balaraman Ravindran. Despite initial doubts from the professor, Srinivas excelled in the class and went on to conduct research with him.
