AI-led security startup SydeLabs raises $2.5 million in seed funding round

AI risk management solutions provider SydeLabs has secured $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by RTP Global. Other participants in the round include Picus Capital, Kunal Shah (founder of Cred), and Sai Srinivas Kiran (founder of Mobile Premier League). SydeLabs plans to use the funds for research and development and to expand its product portfolio. The company helps enterprises identify vulnerabilities in their generative AI models and applications, offering solutions such as Syde Box for vulnerability detection and Syde Guard for real-time security tracking. The company aims to achieve $1 million in annual recurring revenue by the end of 2024 and intends to partner with large language model providers.
