Responsible AI development platform provider Inspeq AI has raised $1.1 million (about Rs 9.13 crore) in its pre-Series-A round led by Sure Valley Ventures with participation from Delta Partners. Other investors in the round include Plug and Play, and several marquee angel investors, including Gaurav Singh Kushwaha (founder and CEO of BlueStone), Prateek Dixit (founder of Pocket FM), Rick Kelly (former MD of Meta Ireland), Cyril Treacy (former VP of Salesforce), and other tech executives. The proceeds will be used to expand its product development team and extend its marketing and sales operations in India, Ireland, and the UK. Founded in 2023 in Dublin by Apoorva Kumar and Ramanujam Macharla Vijayakumar, Inspeq AI has built an enterprise-ready LLM Ops platform to help developers evaluate and improve their enterprise AI applications. The firm’s platform promises to make Gen AI app development up to 4X faster. It also promises to cut down development costs by up to 70%. Its comprehensive AI Ops platform addresses the entire spectrum of AI development and production phases. The platform optimizes Gen AI deployment throughout all phases, from testing and evaluation to monitoring and performance enhancement.

Commercial electric vehicle (EV) leasing and asset management company ALT Mobility has secured $10 million in a Series A funding round led by European venture capital firm Eurazeo. The round also witnessed participation from its existing investors Shell Ventures, Twynam Earth Fund, and EV2 Ventures. The Delhi-based company had previously raised $6.45 million from its existing investors. The proceeds will be allocated towards expanding its digital asset management platform, standardizing its battery technology, expanding its fleet to 30,000 vehicles by March 2026, and managing Rs 800 crore in assets under management (AUM) over the next 18 months, ALT Mobility said in a press release. Co-founded in 2021 by Dev Arora, Anuj Gupta, Harsh Dev Goyal, Jay Gupta, and Manas D Arora, ALT Mobility is a full-stack EV leasing platform offering mobility as a service (MaaS) for commercial vehicle users. It simplifies financing and provides reliable technology that supports the transition of intra-city logistics to electric mobility, reducing carbon footprints and improving profitability. ALT Mobility claims to have a fleet of 10,000 vehicles across 20 Indian cities leased to fleet operators and drivers. The company offers a comprehensive solution, including leasing, servicing, charging, real-time fleet monitoring, and data-driven insights to ensure low total cost of ownership and maximum fleet uptime. ALT Mobility plans to expand its offerings to the driver-cum-owner segment, introducing innovative 'drive-to-own' options and leasing products for four-wheeler light commercial vehicles and cars. It also aims to roll out a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for second-life vehicles.

Collections platform CredResolve has raised $1.1 million in a seed funding round led by UNLEASH Capital Partners, with participation from CDM Capital. The Gurugram-based company had previously raised $33.6K in an angel round from PedalStart, Tujala Goud, and others in February 2024. The proceeds will be used to expand its partnerships to over 25 financial institutions, enhance its AI-driven technology stack, and strengthen its presence across multiple cities, CredResolve said in a press release. Co-founded in August 2023 by Balaji Koustubha, G Prashant Kumar, and Vijay Kumar, CredResolve is an AI-powered collections platform dedicated to optimizing the debt resolution process in India. The platform integrates technology with regulatory compliance to help financial institutions improve recovery rates, reduce operational inefficiencies, and enhance borrower experiences. According to CredResolve, it aims to redefine debt recovery by integrating artificial intelligence with borrower engagement strategies. The company leverages AI to automate recovery workflows, improve borrower communication, and ensure strict compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations. This tech-driven approach enhances recovery rates while reducing operational inefficiencies, addressing a pressing challenge in India’s financial sector. CredResolve claims to serve over 20 lenders across banks, fintech firms, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), and Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs). Currently, the startup generates an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of approximately $1 million and intends to triple its revenue in the next year. It competes with other startups in this space, such as CredGenics, DPDZero, Spocto, Skit.AI, among others. UNLEASH Capital Partners is a Japanese venture capital firm focused on early-stage fintech and financial services in India, with a strong emphasis on driving financial inclusion.

Nitin Gupta (Uni Cards and PayU), Maninder Gulati (former Oyo CSO/Lightspeed), Raymond Russell (former Chief of Staff at Boom Supersonic), Preethi Kasireddy (former Partner, a16z), and Nishant Verman (former Flipkart CorpDev head) have also participated. The proceeds will be used for several strategic initiatives, including enhancing the technological infrastructure by introducing modules for subscriptions, billing, fraud detection, and risk management. Additionally, Dodo Payments plans to establish local payment rails in over 30 countries, focusing on regions such as the European Union, United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Brazil, and Australia. In its initial phase, Dodo Payments claims to have onboarded over 1,000 merchants across 30 countries and aims to expand this to more than 10,000 merchants globally by the end of the year.
