Adobe Acrobat Reader will now allow users to generate and edit images in PDFs

Adobe has introduced new generative AI features to its Acrobat Reader software, allowing users to create and edit images in PDFs using text prompts. The Edit Image feature provides tools for generative fill, background removal, erasing, and cropping, while the Generate Image feature allows users to add new images to their PDFs using the Firefly Image 3 model. Additionally, Adobe has updated the Acrobat AI Assistant with Insights across documents and enhanced meeting transcripts, enabling users to analyse themes and key points in a set of documents, as well as generate summaries of meeting transcripts.
