The core objective was to predict potential failures in machinery by leveraging data-driven techniques. Key Contributions: • Developed predictive models using machine learning algorithms to anticipate machinery failures based on historical sensor and maintenance data. • Performed data preprocessing, feature engineering, and time-series analysis on industrial equipment datasets to extract meaningful patterns. • Implemented models such as Random Forest, XGBoost, and LSTM to evaluate the reliability and performance of prediction strategies. • Conducted model validation and fine-tuning to ensure high accuracy and minimal false positives in failure prediction. • Gained experience with tools like Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and visualization libraries for EDA and reporting.
