Role Description and Achievements:
At Akhe Engineering Theatre, a vanguard in the realm of experimental theater, I undertook a multifunctional role that spanned tour management, administration, and technical design. This position not only honed my diverse skill set but also embedded me deeply in the international theater community through our tours and festival participations across more than 50 countries including Europe, Great Britain, Brazil, South Korea, Canada, Japan, and Australia. Here are the highlights of our collective achievements:
International Festival Circuit: Successfully managed and coordinated the theatre’s participation in numerous prestigious international festivals, facilitating cultural exchanges and elevating our profile on the global stage.
Technical Mastery: As the light designer and sound engineer, I crafted immersive auditory and visual landscapes that were integral to our performances, enhancing the storytelling and audience experience.
Award-Winning Performances: Contributed to the theater’s receipt of numerous international accolades, including the "Fringe First" and "Total Theatre" awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the esteemed "Golden Mask" award in Moscow. These honors are a testament to our innovative approach and the compelling nature of our productions.
Global Tours and Cultural Diplomacy: Through my role as tour manager and administrator, I was pivotal in showcasing our work to diverse audiences around the world, promoting cultural diplomacy and fostering global connections through the universal language of theater.
