Invested an undisclosed sum in the seed round for the acquisition of another hostel chain, www.piggyhostels.com, contributing to a deal surpassing $100k in total value. The investment marked the inaugural backing for the venture. Invested alongside notable industry professionals such as Mr. Kiran Koppula (Former Partner, Signium India; Former EY Executive) and Mr. Amit Malik (Former CEO of Aviva Life Insurance, Current President of Wadz Pay India), amongst others in US, Japan, Switzerland etc. It's worth highlighting that this investment marked a substantial commitment, as I dedicated all of my savings to it which was motivated by two primary objectives: 1.) To demonstrate a substantial personal stake in the venture, emphasizing commitment and alignment of interests. 2.) To immerse myself fully in the intricacies of angel investing and the dynamics of private technology markets, leveraging the opportunity as a hands-on learning experience. Some media coverage 👇🏼

Engaged in formulating expansion strategies for multiple startups in India, with a primary focus on fostering B2B alliances and synergies to drive sales and revenue growth. Nebory: Helped with expansion efforts for a hyperlocal-social commerce platform founded by a Silicon Valley veteran, dedicated to fostering neighborhood connections and empowering home entrepreneurs (hompreneurs) through social media-driven sales. We had secured over $300k in funding, including contributions from industry veterans like Mr. Sunil Kamath (CBO - Koo) and Silicon Valley angels. FreeCopy: Contributed to the growth of an online print aggregator platform, enabling university students to access free photocopies while receiving coupons from nearby FnB/QSR outlets. Antyodaya Yoga Studio (Ahmedabad): Helped a cutting-edge yoga studio in Motera, Ahmedabad, on strategies to boost per-client revenue and optimize operational efficiencies, leveraging ancient yogic practices and wisdom. Fanusta: Facilitated the expansion of an omnichannel furniture-selling company headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, into new geographical markets, enhancing its reach and customer base. Codevidhya: Supported an edtech firm dedicated to imparting 21st-century learning and coding skills to K-12 students, enabling its expansion into new markets. Gravity Star/Srotum: Worked with a government-funded clean-tech venture founded by an ex-ITER Nuclear Scientist. The goal was to harness electricity from Gravity. Contributed to human resources, content writing, and outreach activities. In each endeavour, I was involved in crafting and executing strategic plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of the respective startups, trying to drive sustainable growth and market penetration.
